Like most of us, you get a lot done around here in the course of your day. But that’s not to say you’re not grateful. In fact, every day you’re in a situation where you have to take a break from the process of thinking what you’re going to do, what you need to do to be able to make it work, and what you need to do to be productive.
Ive found it to be an extremely useful tool for cutting down the thinking and dealing with the problem solving required for getting things done. Its very easy to get swept up in the “I need to work on that to make sure I dont forget what my life is about,” thinking and then get so obsessed with doing something that you forget to take a break and you end up just getting so caught up in the process that you forget to actually do something.
To be productive you need to take a break, take a break. It’s that break that keeps you going, and it helps you get things done.
An excellent post about the need to take breaks while you do something that is a part of your life, and how not taking a break can be a terrible mistake.
I feel like it was a bad idea for all of us, especially me, to get so caught up in my own life that I forgot what I’m actually doing. Now that I’ve stopped, I’m so grateful to have taken a break. I feel like I’m in a better place, and it’s helped me find joy in the world.
In the post, you mentioned “the break that keeps you going, and it helps you get things done.” And it’s true – taking breaks helps you get your work done, and it helps you think better. But it doesn’t give you as much energy or motivation to make a project or goal happen. You need to know what you are going to do in the next 30 minutes, and if you don’t do it, you’ll never get your work done.
I used to have a lot of stress, and I was like, “What do I do now?” But I don’t have that much stress anymore, so I can’t get any sleep yet. I think it’s the most important thing to take a break from work. When I take a break from work, I can relax, sleep, and go back to my normal activities.
How many people have been doing this all the time? I think a lot of your stress is caused by having to do everything all at once, so having time off to relax might reduce your stress.
I’ve started doing it all at once (well, maybe not all at once) and I’m not having much of a problem. I’m still having my stress, but I feel more relaxed too. Maybe not in the same way as a lot of people, but I’m getting more of a sense of calm.
I’ll admit that I’m the type of person who’s stressed because I always have to do everything at once. I have to work out, drive to work, and get home, and I always seem to be rushed. The problem is that I always seem to have another project going on at the same time, which makes it even more difficult to relax. But I’m getting to the point where I’m getting more of a sense of calm.
